How do I book my first appointment?

Simply click the “Book Now” button to go to our booking form (http://flycarpet.com/book-now) and schedule your appointment online. We’ll collect a few personal details (like your name and phone number), your address, and your payment information. You’ll immediately receive a confirmation email once your booking is in.
Alternatively you can give us a call at (808) 672 – 2796 to schedule your appointment via phone.

How much will it cost?

Fly Carpet uses easy to understand flat-rate pricing. Pricing is based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and type of service you choose. We believe in easy and transparent pricing, so we actually list it on our Services & Pricing page here:

Do you bring your own supplies?

Our Fly Carpet cleaning teams bring their own equipment and supplies. If you have any special requests we would be happy to accommodate you if possible.

What areas do you serve?

Fly Carpet serves the entire island of Oahu.

Do I have to be home?

Whether or not you’re home during your appointment is up to you. You can leave or feel free to stick around. Whatever you’re most comfortable with is fine. If you do leave, your cleaning team will call or text you before they’re finished. However, we strongly recommend doing a pre-cleaning walkthrough with your team to make sure expectations are properly set.

What are your hours of operation?

We book appointments between 9:00am – 3:00pm, 7 days a week. For larger homes, we recommend scheduling a morning appointment.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

All of our cleaners bring their own equipment and supplies. If you have any special requests we would be happy to accommodate you if possible.

What if the service I want isn't listed online?

If there’s something special that you’d like, please let us know and we would be happy to accommodate you if possible.

Do you offer general residential or commercial cleaning?

What does a Move Out cleaning include?

Our Move Out service is similar to the process of a deep Steam Carpet Cleaning however we ask that all furniture be removed for this specific service so that the maximum amount of floor carpet can be cleaned.

Do you clean offices or commercial spaces?

Is there a time limit for the flat rate service?

Great question! With our flat-rate pricing model, we have a maximum amount of hours that can be worked for each type of job. Please give us a ring and speak with one of our customer satisfaction specialists to find out the maximum hours for your job. We do this to account for jobs that require more intensive work. However, it’s rare that we ever go over and we will let you know before we start if we think we’ll go over the maximum hours allotted for your job.

Pricing and Policies

How does payment work?

We are proud to offer easy cash free payment! We take credit card information at time of booking, to secure your reservation. However, we DO NOT charge your card at this time. The morning of the service, we will put a hold on your card to make sure the funds are there. We will charge you card at the end of the day, AFTER the service has been completed.

What is your cancellation policy?

There is no cancellation fee if you cancel anytime before 5 p.m. the day before your scheduled appointment. Because we reserve a time and cleaning team especially for you, please make any schedule changes before 5 p.m. the day before service. Cancellations made after 5 p.m. the day before service will be charged a cancellation fee of 20% of total service fee.

Are carpet cleanings 100% satisfaction guarantee?

Our standard carpet cleaning service does a great job of making most carpets look like new. However, certain tough stains may require usage of additional equipment, chemicals and more time to remove than the standard carpet cleaning service. This additional service may change the original quoted price. Once at the job site, your technician will assess the damage and quote you the additional cost. You will always have the option to accept or decline the additional charge. Fly Carpet does not guarantee 100% removal of stains. However, we try our best and our success rate is high!

Do you offer gift cards?

Absolutely! Go to our Gift Card page, fill out the form and pay online. Give the gift of a clean carpet in less than 60 seconds!

How do I redeem my discount code or gift card?

Simply enter your discount code or gift card code into the booking form as you are creating your booking. Your final price will automatically change to reflect your coupon balance. At any time you can log into your account and see the balance on any gift cards you have.

Why the 30-minute window?

We always do our best to show up on time, however we ask that you to please allow us a 30-minute window to account for traffic, parking, and other surprises your cleaners may encounter along the way.

Should I tip my carpet cleaners?

Tipping is optional. If you’d like to leave a tip for a job well done, you can tip your cleaners directly. You can also seamlessly add an amount of your choosing by logging into your Fly Carpet account or simply give us a call at (808) 672 – 2796 and let us know how much you’d like to add. Cleaners keep 100% of their tips.

Trust & Safety

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

We have several levels of security in place. First off, our booking form has its own layer of 256 bit security. This is in addition to the SSL protection throughout our site. Secondly, credit card transactions are processed by Stripe and is layered on their own 256 bit security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card). Rest assured we take security very very seriously.

Can I Trust My Carpet Cleaners?

All of our cleaners are interviewed and pass a nationwide detailed background check. Only about 10% of the people that apply end up working as a Fly Carpet certified cleaner.

What if something goes wrong during my appointment?

How do I create a account?

What if I need to make a change to my booking?

Log into your account and make the desired changes to your upcoming booking. Alternatively you can can give us a call and we will update your address for you.

Log into your account and update your address and contact info in your upcoming booking. Alternatively you can can give us a call and we will update your address for you.

How do I change my payment information?

Log into your account at https://flycarpet.launch27.com/login/ and update your card on file. Your new card will automatically be noted as your default card.

Carpet Maintenance & Prep

How should I prepare for the arrival of the carpet cleaners?

For a Steam Carpet Cleaning service, it’s best if you clear clutter, put away clothes and clear surfaces so that we can do what we do best…clean! If we’re doing a Move Out carpet cleaning, we ask that all items be removed from your home, including clearing out your cabinets and drawers. We are more than happy to clean around and underneath large appliances, but just ask that you move them for us first. Due to liability reasons, our cleaning teams are not able to move large appliances.

I’m moving out of my place and am required to get professional carpet cleaning. Will you provide a receipt that I can show to my landlord?

Yes! We send you a digital receipt to the account email after every job.

Do I have to vacuum the carpets before you clean?

Thank you but you don’t have to vacuum the carpets before our cleaners arrive. The most helpful thing is to make sure carpets are clear of large items as well as clothing, clutter etc.

How long does it take to dry? What's the difference between steam cleaning and chem dry cleaning?

Steam cleaning is a deep-rinse carpet shampoo process best advised for carpets that haven’t been cleaned in awhile or for carpets that are moderately to heavily soiled. It takes about 6-8 hours to dry with steam cleaning.

Can I walk on the carpets afterwards?

Yes, it is safe to walk on the carpets barefoot with clean feet. If you’d like, we can also provide you with the booties that we use when cleaning the carpets.

Do you move furniture?

We are happy to move any small items such as waste bins and chairs at no additional charge. We are more than happy to clean around and underneath large appliances, but just ask that you move them for us first. Due to liability reasons, our cleaning teams are not able to move large appliances. In most cases people opt to leave heavy furniture in place and have the open areas of the carpet cleaned.
